I can tell you carrying 4 boys over the period of 12 years is no small feat. It’s done a number on my back. When carriers came into my life it made things a little easier, but the bigger they got the more strain it not only put on my back, but it also put a strain on their hips. Back in the day, we didn’t know anything about babies hip being out of alignment while in a carrier and if I had, I might have done things a little differently. I’m so happy that there are new innovations for babies and parent to make carrying a whole lot more comfortable for both.

My little guys love pint-size furniture about as much as I do. They have a small rocking chair and folding chairs for outside use, but until now, didn’t have a “my-size” chair for indoors. Both of my little ones just love comic book movies and Avengers is at the top of that. Every time we watch they get into the argument of who is who…my youngest usually wins being the hulk as he has the temperament to match. With that in mind, Delta Children sent us their Avengers Upholstered Chair to check out.
The chair comes boxed and in two pieces which make it super easy to assemble!
This chair from Delta Children is a high back, is fully upholstered in a vibrant blue with Avengers images on the high back & kickboard areas. The armrests & back are padded for comfort & creates a cozy, kid-sized spot that’s just for them.
This is little man’s spot for everything from story time, to movie night…I’m telling you if it reclined, he’d probably even sleep in it!
Next one on our list is the Darth Vader! These high backs are perfect for my little guys! They fit both my 4-year-old and 8-year-old perfectly…so its something they can grow with.

How We We’re Able To Give Our Son A Dog Even When He’s Scared of Them

My youngest is afraid of dogs. He had been unsure of them, but would still try to pet them if they were controlled. One day we went to the beach and a couple with a dog got there about the same time. The dog was super excited to be there and ready to run…Little man wanted to try to pet him, he was on a leash so I didn’t see an issue. The dog goes a little excited and jumped up to put his paws on my son’s shoulders and accidentally scratched his face with his claws. That was it for my son. He’s been terrified of dogs ever since.
He still really wants to like them, but he doesn’t like the jumping or licking, so when were at my brother-in-laws house he wont go outside if the dogs are running around. I can see that he wants to play with them, he’ll throw a stick or ball, but then run back to me to pick him up when they come running back. I can’t cure his fear overnight, but I can give him a dog that HE can control and not feel fearful of.
