Ice Age: Collision Course Featurette + Giveaway

Summer movie season is upon us, and this year’s lineup isn’t lacking any action, sequels or big stars. I have shared some releases on a few and you know were excited about several of them, like Avengers (Marvel Geek), Hot Pursuit (Love Reese!), Mad Max (Yes, I’m an 80’s girl), & Tomorrowland just to name a few (trust me that’s not all!). So I’ve scoured the web and put together a list of this years 2015 Summer Blockbusters and release dates…Check the bottom for a printable calendar!
MAY
“Avengers: Age of Ultron” (May 1)
Marvel Studios presents “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” the epic follow-up to the biggest Super Hero movie of all time. When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to The Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure.
“Hot Pursuit” (May 8)
An uptight and by-the-book cop tries to protect the outgoing widow of a drug boss as they race through Texas pursued by crooked cops and murderous gunmen.
“Mad Max: Fury Road” (May 15)
In a stark desert landscape where humanity is broken, two rebels just might be able to restore order: Max, a man of action and of few words, and Furiosa, a woman of action who is looking to make it back to her childhood homeland.
“Pitch Perfect 2” (May 15)
After a humiliating command performance at Lincoln Center, the Barden Bellas enter an international competition that no American group has ever won in order to regain their status and right to perform.
“Poltergeist” (May 22)
Legendary filmmaker Sam Raimi and director Gil Kenan reimagine and contemporize the classic tale about a family whose suburban home is invaded by angry spirits. When the terrifying apparitions escalate their attacks and take the youngest daughter, the family must come together to rescue her.
“Tomorrowland” (May 22)
Bound by a shared destiny, a bright, optimistic teen bursting with scientific curiosity and a former boy-genius inventor jaded by disillusionment embark on a danger-filled mission to unearth the secrets of an enigmatic place somewhere in time and space that exists in their collective memory as “Tomorrowland.”
“San Andreas” (May 29)
In the aftermath of a massive earthquake in California, a rescue-chopper pilot makes a dangerous journey across the state in order to rescue his estranged daughter.
“Aloha” (May 29)
A celebrated military contractor returns to the site of his greatest career triumphs and re-connects with a long-ago love while unexpectedly falling for the hard-charging Air Force watchdog assigned to him.
“Entourage” (June 3)
Movie star Vincent Chase, together with his boys Eric, Turtle, and Johnny, are back – and back in business with super agent-turned-studio head Ari Gold.
JUNE
“Spy” (June 5)
A desk-bound CIA analyst volunteers to go undercover to infiltrate the world of a deadly arms dealer, and prevent diabolical global disaster.
“Insidious: Chapter 3” (June 5)
A prequel set before the haunting of the Lambert family that reveals how gifted psychic Elise Rainier reluctantly agrees to use her ability to contact the dead in order to help a teenage girl who has been targeted by a dangerous supernatural entity.
“Jurassic World” (June 12)
Twenty-two years after the events of Jurassic Park (1993), Isla Nublar now features a fully functioning dinosaur theme park, Jurassic World, as originally envisioned by John Hammond. After 10 years of operation and visitor rates declining, in order to fulfill a corporate mandate, a new attraction is created to re-spark visitor’s interest, which backfires horribly.
“Me and Earl and the Dying Girl” (June 12)
A teenage filmmaker befriends a classmate with cancer.
“Inside Out” (June 19)
After a girl moves to a new home, her emotions are plunged into chaos as they compete for control of her mind.
“Ted 2” (June 26)
Newlywed couple Ted and Tami-Lynn want to have a baby, but in order to qualify to be a parent, Ted will have to prove he’s a person in a court of law.
JULY
“Terminator Genisys” (July 1)
After finding himself in a new time-line, Kyle Reese teams up with John Connor’s mother Sarah and an aging terminator to try and stop the one thing that the future fears, “Judgement Day”.
“Magic Mike XXL” (July 1)
Three years after Mike bowed out of the stripper life at the top of his game, he and the remaining Kings of Tampa hit the road to Myrtle Beach to put on one last blow-out performance.
“Minions” (July 10)
Minions Stuart, Kevin and Bob are recruited by Scarlet Overkill, a super-villain who, alongside her inventor husband Herb, hatches a plot to take over the world.
“Ant-Man” (July 17)
Armed with a super-suit with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, con-man Scott Lang must embrace his inner hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym, plan and pull off a heist that will save the world.
“Trainwreck” (July 17)
Having thought that monogamy was never possible, a commitment-phobic career woman may have to face her fears when she meets a good guy.
“Pan” (July 24)
The story of an orphan who is spirited away to the magical Neverland. There, he finds both fun and dangers, and ultimately discovers his destiny — to become the hero who will be forever known as Peter Pan.
“Paper Towns” (July 24)
A young man and his friends embark upon the road trip of their lives to find the missing girl next door.
“Pixels” (July 24)
When aliens misinterpret video feeds of classic arcade games as a declaration of war, they attack the Earth in the form of the video games.
“Southpaw” (July 24)
A boxer fights his way to the top, only to find his life falling apart around him.
“Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation” (July 31)
Ethan and team take on their most impossible mission yet, eradicating the Syndicate – an International rogue organization as highly skilled as they are, committed to destroying the IMF.
“Vacation” (July 31)
Rusty Griswold takes his own family on a road trip to “Walley World” in order to spice things up with his wife and reconnect with his sons.
AUGUST
“Fantastic Four” (Aug. 7)
Four young outsiders teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe which alters their physical form in shocking ways. The four must learn to harness their new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy.
“Masterminds” (Aug. 7)
A night guard at an armored car company in the Southern U.S. organizes one of the biggest bank heists in American history.
“Ricki and the Flash” (Aug. 7)
A musician who gave up everything for her dream of rock-and-roll stardom returns home, looking to make things right with her family.
“Straight Outta Compton” (Aug. 14)
The group NWA emerges from the streets of Compton, California in the mid-1980s and revolutionizes pop culture with their music and tales about life in the hood.
“The Man From U.N.C.L.E.” (Aug. 14)
In the early 1960s, CIA agent Napoleon Solo and KGB operative Illya Kuryakin participate in a joint mission against a mysterious criminal organization, which is working to proliferate nuclear weapons.
