As parents we are always searching for a new twist on something the kids already love! In today’s Make It Monday, I’m going to show you how to make a Bacon Cheeseburger Pie! 2 Cups Shredded Cheese (I use Cheddar, but you can use whatever you like) 1 Cup diced bacon bits (or store bought bacon bits) Lettuce Shreds (for garnish) Brown hamburger meat, drain Cook bacon (if your doing fresh bacon) Whisk your eggs in a bowl Add in your cheese (save a little for top sprinkling), diced bacon bits, and hamburger meat Divide into two sprayed pie pans Sprinkle top with remaining cheese Bake in oven at 400* for 25-30 min or until egg is done Garnish top with tomato dices & lettuce shreds I decided to do a side salad instead of all the garnish. This is one of the kids favorite meals, plus its easy to make and easy on the pocket book!
Its easy to make it with ground turkey & turkey bacon too!

Lucasfilm and visionary director J.J. Abrams join forces to take you back again to a galaxy far, far away as Star Wars returns to the big screen with Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
The fans were fierce, and you could just feel the excitement coming through the screen as I watched Star Wars The Force Awakens World Premiere Red Carpet from home.
The film stars Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew and Max Von Sydow. Kathleen Kennedy, J.J. Abrams and Bryan Burk are producing with Tommy Harper and Jason McGatlin serving as executive producers. The screenplay is by Lawrence Kasdan & J.J. Abrams and Michael Arndt.
How I would have loved to have been in this room! But I have to wait a few more days, just like the rest of the world.

1) The Texas State Capital | Austin, Tx
The capital is a must see attraction for anyone visiting the Lone Star State. It houses Texas state history + governing bodies. You can pack a lunch and have a picnic on the gorgeous ground and maybe even get to feed one of the friendly sqirles.
2) The Alamo | San Antonio, Tx
The Alamo is a major part of Texas history. You can take guided tours , see artifacts and really get just how out numbered the Texans were. While you’re in the area you can catch an IMAX showing of the Alamo story + take in the river walk which is just across the street.
3) The Texas Coast | Galveston, Tx | Port Aransas | Padre Island
The coast has many things to offer.
Head over to Galveston to experience Moody Gardens, Historic Pleasure Pier, The Historic District and much more.
Port Aransas/Corpus Christi area has some great beaches, the Texas State Aquarium, Padre National Sea Shore, Pirate Tours and more.
Padre Island has some of the best beaches in the state. You can take sand castle lessons, go sailing and hit Schlitterbahn beach water park.
4) The Stockyards | Fort Worth, Tx
The Fort Worth Stockyards is the history book of the livestock industry in Texas. Each chapter is represented by the original bricks and mortar, the wood corrals, the men, and the music that are all still a part of the Stockyards today. Rodeo’s, Shows, restaurants, & Shopping. If you’re looking for a true “Texas experience”, you’ll love the Fort Worth Stockyards!
5) Big Bend National Park
There is a place in Far West Texas where night skies are dark as coal and rivers carve temple-like canyons in ancient limestone. Here, at the end of the road, hundreds of bird species take refuge in a solitary mountain range surrounded by weather-beaten desert. Tenacious cactus bloom in sublime southwestern sun, and diversity of species is the best in the country. This magical place is Big Bend.
