Andrea Bocelli Cinema Album Review

Andrea Bocelli’s Stunning New Album – A Comprehensive Review of ‘Cinema’

As devoted fans of Andrea Bocelli, my husband and I were thrilled to discover his latest album, ‘Cinema’. Bocelli’s soothing tenor voice never fails to captivate, and he consistently partners with exceptional talent to create truly unique musical experiences. This time, he’s teamed up with Ariana Grande, Nicole Scherzinger, and Veronica Berti to deliver a multi-lingual masterpiece that showcases his stunning vocal prowess.

Embracing Diversity with Multi-Lingual Recordings

One aspect that sets ‘Cinema’ apart is Bocelli’s decision to record his songs in five different languages – Italian, French, Spanish, English, and Sicilian. This not only demonstrates his linguistic talent but also adds a layer of cultural richness to the album, enhancing its appeal for a global audience.

Bocelli’s Unique Interpretation of Classic Movie Hits

Part of the charm of ‘Cinema’ lies in Bocelli’s reinterpretation of classic movie hits. Bocelli has a knack for putting his own spin on familiar tunes, infusing them with an almost magical aura that makes them feel fresh and novel. These are the same songs we’ve come to know and love, but Bocelli’s unique interpretation gives them a new lease on life.

Immersive Musical Journey with ‘Cinema’

‘Cinema’ consists of a collection of iconic movie songs that have touched the hearts of several generations. The album features epic theme songs from films like “Doctor Zhivago”, “Love Story”, “The Godfather”, “Life is Beautiful”, “Gladiator”, “The Postman”, “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”, and many more. It also includes popular songs from stage musicals like “West Side Story” and “Evita”.

A Mesmerizing Duet with Ariana Grande

Although it’s challenging to pick a favorite from such a stunning collection, the E PIU’ TI PENSO duet with Ariana Grande stands out. Their voices blend beautifully, creating a mesmerizing harmony that leaves you yearning for more.

Delving Deeper into Bocelli’s Collaboration with Ariana Grande

The duet with Ariana Grande, E PIU’ TI PENSO, is undoubtedly a highlight of the ‘Cinema’ album. The song, originally from the movie Once Upon a Time in America, is a melodic exchange between two of the most powerful voices in the music industry. The blend of Grande’s soprano with Bocelli’s tenor creates an ethereal harmony that adds an extra layer of emotion to the already poignant lyrics. This collaboration demonstrates Bocelli’s ability to transcend generational and stylistic boundaries, bringing together fans of classical and pop music alike.

Halloween is one of my families favorite holidays. Everyone looks forward to dressing up, pumpkin treats & of course the epic movie nights! My kids love movie nights, and since we’ve moved up by family after Harvey’s devastation…we have even more kids to invite over for the fun! We usually pick out a family favorite or holiday themed movie and then make delicious snacks to go along with it. We’ve had the unfortunate happen once or twice as we couldn’t find a DVD we were wanting to watch…but now with technology changing and making things easier, we’ve started to watch & store all of our movies online. The only minor problem was that we had movies scattered out between Amazon, Google, iTunes & Vudu. Now there is a new service that brings all of our movies together on one platform! Movies Anywhere!
With Halloween being this week we decided on a Harry Potter movie night! Since the kids’ ages ranged from 4-16 it was a great choice, plus I could have fun with the food! Three of my nieces & nephews had not seen Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone yet, so I had to make this movie night extra special! Movies Anywhere took care of my movie & I took care of the decor, food & take home wands. Yes, you heard that right, I made everyone their own wand! Now I got the idea of Pinterest, so I can’t take the credit…but I will say they were super fun to make!
For the wands you will need:
    Chopsticks
    Hot Glue
    Black Spray Paint
    Brown Spray Paint
    Copper Spray Paint
I added hot glue to the chopsticks to give each one it’s individuality. Once dried I sprayed 6 of them black & 6 of them brown. You need to let them dry between coats or flipping the chopstick over. Once the solid color covers the surface & is dry you can either stipple with the copper spray paint or carefully spray in short bursts to give the wands an aged look. Finish off with a clear sealer or leave as is.
Now let’s talk food! I made golden snitches with Ferrero Rocher & a wing printable I found on Pinterest. There are plenty to choose from, but I loved the ones I used. I cut up some gummy worms to make slugs, set our Dementor Relief bars & put out M&M’s in the house colors. My favorites were the Polyjuice Potion Deviled Dragons Eggs (recipe below) & the simple Butterbeer! We also made some simple sorting hats with sugar cookies, ice cream cone, icing (to bind) & filled with M&M’s of house color.
For the Polyjuice Potion Deviled Dragons Eggs you will need:
    18 Eggs
4 Bacon Strips Diced (Shredded Boomslang skin)
3/4c Ranch Dressing (Stewed Lacewing Flies)
    Food Coloring
    Dried Cilantro (Fluxweed)
    Instructions:
Hard Boil your eggs & let cool
Roll your eggs around until they have cracks all the way around
Die them as you would your Easter eggs
    Let dry
Cook diced bacon strips until desired consistency (we cooked these a little less to give them some flexibility like skin)
    Peel shells off of eggs
Cut your eggs in half and remove yolks
Mash up yolks in a bowl & add ranch
    Mix well
    Add in Green food coloring
    Mix well
Pipe or drop yolk mixture by spoonful back into egg halves
Top with cilantro & bacon dices
    Enjoy!
TIP: You can add cilantro & bacon bits into the mixture for more flavor & texture.

  • The 67th Annual Emmy Awards: When Streaming Crashed Television’s Biggest Party

The 67th Annual Emmy Awards honored the best in U.S. prime time television programming, as chosen by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, Sunday night in Los Angeles in a ceremony televised live on Fox and hosted by Andy Samberg. Below is a quick recap of the 2015 Emmy Award winners in each of the major categories.
But first lets start with the Red Carpet Fashions. I LOVE tracking red carpet fashions! This year, I couldn’t stick with just 5 favorites, so I have 10 of my favorites for you & what would a red carpet be without worst dressed? I only have 5 worst dressed…There were some big trends that I saw..Black was in, floral seemed to be big too which was surprising, you usually see that more in the spring. Simple down hair and little jewelry also seem to be a trend for the night. I might get heat for some of my choices, but they are only my opinion. There were stunning women & men alike, so lets get to it…
    10 Best Dressed
Jamie Lee Curtis – The always stunning Jamie Lee, didn’t disappoint in this shapely long sleeve black dress and simplistic jewelry.
Lady Gaga in Brandon Maxwell – Always known for her out of this world outfits, GAGA stunned in a simple black dress. Created by her former stylist-turned-designer Brandon Maxwell, the understated look was a good bet for the Emmys.
Alan Cumming in Vivienne Westwood – Alan Cumming turned heads in this three-piece suit with really baggy trousers & black crocs…who else could pull this off?
David Oyelowo in Dolce & Gabbana – David looked amazing in this textured tuxedo.
John Stamos in Dolce & Gabbana – John Stamos showed no mercy showing up in this classic tux with a red pocket square.
Sarah Hyland in Zac Posen – Sarah Hyland looked stunning in this deep plum off-shoulder Zac Posen gown.
Julia Louis-Dreyfus in SAFiYAA – Julia certainly turned heads in this simple, classic one-shouldered black gown.
Ariel Winter in Romona Keveza – This red hot dress is a simple, tasteful choice for the 17-year-old Modern Family Star.
Samira Wiley in Christian Siriano – The Orange Is The New Black star is stunning in a hot pink one-shoulder dress.
Sofia Vergara in St. John – Sofia knows how to fit her body and looks stunning in her usual fishtail hem silhouette that is set with 64,000 Swarovski crystals.
    5 Worst Dressed
Jill Soloway in Bottega Veneta – I’m just not sure what she was thinking with this polka dot suit. It’s certainly not red carpet wear.
Jaimie Alexander in Armani Privé – I know many loved this look…it was just far from fantastic for me.
Emma Myles in BEBE – The florals and colors were just way off. It did nothing for her.
Heidi Klum in Atelier Versace – Heidi loves her barely there clothes, but this Atelier Versace gown with lace and crystals just did nothing for her
Kerry Washington in Marc Jacobs – Again, I know many loved this dress, but to me it looked like something Tina Turner would have wore in Mad Max…not a great look..
