As my assignment for the #McFarlandUSAEvent in Los Angeles came to a close, I prepared myself for another thrilling adventure. This week, I had the distinct pleasure of sharing my thoughts on Tinkerbell and the Legend of the Neverbeast, and even more exciting, interviewing Ginnifer Goodwin, the voice of Fawn, the animal fairy.

Discovering Ginnifer Goodwin

Now, before you judge me, let me admit that I was probably the only person on the planet who didn’t initially know who Ginnifer Goodwin was. I hadn’t watched any of the shows she starred in, so research was in order. And what I discovered was a woman who was not only strikingly beautiful but also incredibly down-to-earth. Despite having recently given birth, she radiated a captivating glow.

As a Tinkerbell enthusiast, meeting one of the voices behind the beloved character was an exhilarating experience. Ginnifer Goodwin’s role as Fawn added a whole new depth to the movie, and I couldn’t wait to delve into our interview.

Q: Do you share any traits with Fawn?

Goodwin responded, “I think I’m always sort of cast for myself, but I think that I’ve almost only been, yes, cast for the characters that I naturally exhibit. I think optimism and, faith and hope and, love of life. Love of others. I think that Fawn and I are both animated in the same way as it were.”

Goodwin’s candid response provided insight into her connection with her character. Her optimism, faith, love for life, and others reflect the traits of Fawn, making her the perfect choice for the role.

Q: Is that your first figure/doll?

Caught off guard, Goodwin admitted, “I hadn’t thought of that, yes, I think it is.”

Ginnifer Goodwin’s Emotional Journey

Q: Being that you were pregnant, did that help with the emotional levels?

Goodwin replied, “Yeah. Just call me in for any job that requires crying. I’ve never had a problem being overly emotional. I think that we all sort of I don’t know. I think a lot of actors we’re just sort of like freaks who really conveniently found outlets. I don’t know what I would do if I weren’t an actor because I am such a crybaby. Being pregnant was like a whole other level of crying on cue.”

Disney’s Incredible Support

Despite her doctor’s advice to rest during her pregnancy, Goodwin’s passion for her work kept her going. Disney’s support during this time was evident as they created a comfortable environment for her to continue recording.

Goodwin shared, “I was told by my Doctor I had to get off my feet and they offered to postpone recording but I really wanted to do it so they were like Oh, we got something great. We got something great. And I’m OK. And we go in a Recording Booth and they’ve set me up in a bed in the Recording Booth and it’s covered in like Disney Stuffed Animals. And I got to record from the — the lying down with Disney Stuffed Animals for a couple of sessions and that was so good.”

How Motherhood Influences Her Career Choices

Q: Having a child now – do you think it changes the roles that you take?

Goodwin mused, “I don’t know. Well, ironically I feel like after “Once Upon a Time” I think I need something a little more adult for my own creative satisfaction. Ironically maybe it’s kinda done the opposite where I feel like I have so much imagination in my life now. Because I’m with this youthful creature 24/7, I think that though I will want to for sure take jobs that will make him happy and proud like this one I think will.”

The interview with Ginnifer Goodwin was an incredible experience. Her genuine and gracious nature left a lasting impression, and I’m excited to see what the future holds for her career.

One of the most fascinating aspects of my interview with Ginnifer Goodwin was delving deeper into the behind-the-scenes process of creating Tinkerbell and The Legend of the Neverbeast. Goodwin, who was pregnant at the time of recording, shared some interesting details about her experience.

Recording Process and Disney’s Support

Despite being advised by her doctor to get some rest, Goodwin’s commitment to her role as Fawn was unwavering. Disney, in turn, went above and beyond to ensure her comfort during the recording sessions. Goodwin shared that the recording booth was transformed into a cozy nook filled with Disney stuffed animals, allowing her to record while lying down. If you have a girl chances are she loves to play with dolls…I know I loved to play with barbie when I was a little girl, but now days they have so many more options to choose from. By now i’m sure you’ve heard of & seen the Monster High Dolls…
Monster High is an American fashion doll franchise created by Mattel and launched in July 2010. The characters are inspired by monster movies, sci-fi horror, thriller fiction, and various creatures thus distinguishing them from most other fashion dolls on the market.
The dolls are approximately 27 cm tall. Their bodies are made from ABS plastic, and their heads are made from soft PVC. The dolls have many skin tones, including abnormal ones such as blue, green, and pink. All female dolls have rooted saran hair, however, male dolls have flocked or hard, colored plastic hair. Each doll has their own unique fashion style and personality and each have various attributes of the monsters they are related to (i.e., fangs, stitches, wolf ears, fins, bandages, snakes, etc.). Each doll comes packaged with accessories such as a pet, a purse, diary, doll stand and hair brush and sometimes an extra outfit. The pets, diaries and purses are unique to each character. However, accessories vary from one line to another and some lines do not come with any accessories included.
I’ve seen some people hate them and some people love them. I myself love them! I think they are so cool and while I don’t have little girls would buy them for my nieces who are getting old enough for dolls like this. These are super fun dolls that I know I would have collected as a girl (maybe I still will :P). Perfect gift for the little girl who loves to play with dolls!

Bonnie gets invited to her friend’s house for a play date. However, her friend, Mason, is not longer interested in toys, but instead plays video games and talks Bonnie into playing with him. With this new experience to try out Bonnie tosses her toys aside into Mason’s room and begins to spend the day in front of the console with Mason. This is where Trixie and the toys meet the Reptillus and the rest of the Battlesaurs, and immediately starts suiting up for battle.
Trixie is completely excited and taken in by the Battlesaurs and begins to flirt a little with Reptillus, the muscled, hunky dino. Buzz and Woddy are taken hostage by some of the other Battlesaurs as they do not realize they are actually toys. The toys go on quite an adventure to overcome their obstacles of being held hostage and to get Bonnie off the video games and back to her toys.

Easy Homemade Brownie Recipe using Splenda Sugar Blend

One of my must have sweet treats and I must say, my downfall, is brownies! I love brownies, but they really are full of sugar. Today I’m going to share with you a homemade brownie recipe using a Splenda blend for a healthier option (you can use the Splenda granules for an even less sugar)!
Ingredients2 Eggs3/4 cup Splenda Sweetner1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1/2 cup melted butter
3/4 cup cocoa2/3 cup flour1/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
extrasnuts
chocolate chips
Preheat your oven to 350*
Using a spoon mix together your wet ingredients. Mix your dry ingredients in a separate bowl, then stir into wet mixture slowly mixing. Add in extras (I added in leftover chocolate chips) Spread into sprayed or greased 8/9 inch pan. Bake for 20-30 min depending on your oven (mine takes 30). Let cool, then cut into squares! Makes 16 brownies.
You can double the ingredients and bake in a 9×16 pan for more of this delicious treat!
