Look at how you sleep
The position you sleep in could affect how your back feels. If you sleep in a way that aggravates your back, it could end up more painful. If you sleep on your side, you might want to try sleeping with a pillow between your knees to reduce strain on your back. If you prefer to sleep on your back, try sleeping with a pillow under your knees.
It is also vital to ensure that you are sleeping on a good quality mattress. An old, damaged mattress can cause your back pain to get worse.
Keep it moving
It might be tempting to rest your back for long periods when it is painful, but you should try to keep it moving. Continue to do all of your everyday tasks as best as you can, and when you are able, you might want to try and do some light exercises. Over resting can result in the muscles in your back getting weaker, and your back pain getting worse.
Think about your posture
Sitting in a weird position with your back hunched over is going to do nothing for your back pain. Try to sit upright with your shoulders back and relaxed. If you work in an office, or anywhere else that requires you to sit for long periods, make sure that your chair supports your back correctly, and that you don’t slump over your work.
Take painkillers
Over-the-counter painkillers and anti-inflammatory drugs will be able to help you deal with your back pain. It will take the edge off and make it easier for you to keep moving. If over-the-counter painkillers don’t ease the pain, you should visit your doctor.

One of the things I was most excited to learn about at #D23Expo (other than all the amazing Animation & Live Action films coming out) was the new innovative new way to play…Playmation! I can not tell you how excited I was to learn more about this new way to play..then they threw in a demonstration and let us check out the game play for ourselves!!
What is Playmation?
Playmation is the next step in the evolution of play, where digital gets physical and imagination becomes real. The groundbreaking system of toys and wearables uses smart technology to inspire kids to run around and use their imaginations, as they become the hero or heroine of stories from Disney, Marvel and Star Wars.
You should have seen their test subject…she was running, jumping, dodging, and the gear interacts with it all and plays along with her! It’s AMAZING!! This takes “game play” to a whole other level! You can play with or without the figures it comes with which gives you extra play…and will eventually be able to add more figures to give you even more play opportunities. The Repulsor Gear is adjustable so just about anyone can wear one!
Playmation Marvel’s Avengers is the first in a series of new franchise-based systems in development, which uses familiar technologies including wearables, wireless technology, motion sensors and more, but applies them in ways that are completely new, to create an experience that’s never been possible before. The Repulsor Gear connects with the Power Activators and Smart Figures to take you on a variety of adventures through locations around the Marvel Universe.
Playmation is purposely not tethered to an Internet connection so players can run around and explore each adventure from anywhere they want – a bedroom, living room or yard. Also available at launch, is the AvengersNet app where you can register Avenger Gear to see progress, explore additional locations and characters, and get access to new missions.

Also be on the look out because coming this Fall, Playmation Marvel’s Avengers Gamma Gear – inspired by the 7-foot Hulk – lets you smash into battle using motion-sensing technology putting you in the Avengers action. Slip your hands into the Gamma Gear and use the motion-based controls to smash your way through missions and stomp through battlegrounds with different Hulk moves like Ground Slam, Thunder Clap, and other combos.
I know 4…okay, lets be real, 5 “boys” in my house who will all have this on their list this year…and I might just have to get myself one to keep up…and level up before they do! I’m stoked about the additional gear and sets coming up in the future. These are right up our all with the way we play in our house!
