The story of Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment’s Minions begins at the dawn of time. Starting as single-celled yellow organisms, Minions evolve through the ages, perpetually serving the most despicable of masters. The inimitable voices of the Minions are again voiced by Academy Award-nominee Pierre Coffin (Despicable Me, Despicable Me 2) who co-directs with Kyle Balda (Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax). Minions is produced by Illumination Entertainment CEO and founder Chris Meledandri and Janet Healy. Brian Lynch wrote the screenplay, and Chris Renaud serves as executive producer of the film.

Being able to achieve something like this will be impossible without some clever planning. There will be a number of different issues you have to overcome, with work being one of the hardest for most people. The odds are that you will have at least a few weeks’ worth of vacation time each year. Along with this, you will also have to plan your budget, the things you’d like to do while away, and how you’re going to make it all work when you’re vacation will last as long as possible. While it will feel bad to wait, it can help to get started with this long before you’re due to fly, giving you the chance to take different steps if the ones you choose don’t work out.

Staying in a hotel for more than a couple of weeks isn’t an option for a lot of people. This will cost a small fortune, with the price of these places being designed for those who are only having a short stay. Looking for an apartment for rent in your temporary home can be a great way to get yourself out there for as long as possible. Not only will this ensure that you pay a fairer price for your place, but it will also give you access to things like cookers, making it easier to stay somewhere for a long time. AirBnB can also be good for this, but won’t give you the same amount of time as traditional renting.

Growing up there were many special “stuffed animals” I had, but there were a few teddy bears that were my favorite, mostly because I received them from a special person. As I got older I didn’t need my hoard of stuffed toys anymore, so I did the only thing that I could think to do with them…donate them to the local children’s hospital to bring happiness to someone else’s life, the way they did mine.
Now that I’m a parent, I spend my days picking up my kids stuffed toys, but there is one out of all of them, that really mean something to my oldest, myself and my husband. How could one little teddy bear mean so much? It was the last gift my son got from his grandfather. He actually opened it on Christmas 2004, a few days after he had passed. It was a normal sized white teddy bear with golden ears in the prayer position…and when you squeeze it, it says the lords prayer. To this day, almost 11 years later, my son still has the bear sitting in his room. It’s a bit beat up and doesn’t play the prayer anymore, but it’s brings on so much emotion it’s hard to give up.

No one understands this feeling better than Snuggle Bear, who has been softening laundry and hearts for over 30 years. Snuggle’s mission to make the world a softer place is especially meaningful as we celebrate National Teddy Bear Day September 9th.
Small acts of kindness make a big difference. So starting today, and throughout the month of SeptemBEAR, Snuggle is spreading joy and brightening people’s day through the simple, heartfelt act of giving away teddy bears through #ShareABear. Snuggle is encouraging everyone to take part in the #ShareABear movement by sharing a photo, video or story of you and a special teddy bear in your life. As part of the movement, Snuggle will donate 5,000 bears through Random Acts, a non-profit organization, to help brighten the days of children in need.
To kick off the effort, Snuggle surprised some special friends with a snuggly act of kindness, sharing teddy bears to help celebrate his favorite holiday and to encourage others to #ShareABear.
The positive effects of teddy bears are well documented, providing people with a rare companionship that very few other things can match. Particularly during times of sickness or stress, they can bring comfort and reassurance. And, at any age, holding a teddy bear can trigger a release of “feel good” hormones.
“As one of the fastest growing brands in the fabric conditioning category, Snuggle is focused on making the world a softer place,” said Bibie Wu, Vice President of Marketing, Snuggle. “So it’s no surprise that SeptemBEAR is one of Snuggle’s favorite time of the year. SeptemBEAR is a month to celebrate the special place teddy bears have in our hearts, and we are proud to celebrate with activities that capture the warm and snuggly spirit of the brand.”
Snuggle surveyed over 5,500 consumers to discover the true importance of the teddy bear in people’s lives. Results showed:
o 73% of people had a teddy bear as their first stuffed animal
o 38% still sleep with their teddy bear but won’t tell their friends!
o 71% still find comfort in their bear when sick
o 54% have passed down a teddy bear to a child or loved one
o 44% of people own more than four teddy bears!
Random Acts is a global non-profit organization, now celebrating its 5th anniversary, which aims to conquer the world, one random act of kindness at a time. Its network of child-focused charities includes, but is not limited to: Children’s Aid Society, New York; People Serving People, Minnesota; HELP of South Nevada and Bradley Angle, Oregon.

#1: Not all dreams are impossible
Okay, so there will be those dreams that are pretty much unachievable. If you have ever wanted to marry a prince, ride on a unicorn, or fly to the moon, then you might never get the opportunity. This is especially true if you are still holding out on the hope that unicorns might be true! However, not all dreams are pipe dreams. If there are places in the world that you are desperate to visit, you should start making an effort to save your money. If you have ever wanted to master a musical instrument, you could hire a tutor or take an online course akin to Piano in 21 Days. And if you have ever wanted to become famous, perhaps now is the time to get started, perhaps by beginning that book you have always wanted to write, or taking acting classes, or whatever else it will take to get you noticed.
So, think about your dreams. If they are achievable, start to make them happen, in whatever way necessary.
#2: You aren’t getting any younger
Sorry, but it’s true. You aren’t getting any younger, and if you continue to hold off on following your dreams, you might one day be unable to achieve them, especially if you have fallen prey to certain age-related health issues. So, while you still have your health on your side, and while you still have the capacity to work on making your dreams a reality, start to make a plan now. You might only regret it if you don’t, especially when you’re past retirement age and looking back on a life with dreams unfulfilled.
#3: You will enjoy life on a greater level
Let’s face it; life can sometimes be a chore. We go to work, pay the bills, manage our households, and take care of the needs of others. Entire weeks and months can go by without much thought towards making ourselves happier. But as we only have one life (open to debate), we should make more of an effort to pursue those dreams that could help us enjoy life more. Even when we’re in the planning stages, our mundane routines will become less intolerable when we have something to look forward to. And when we do get to live out our dreams, we will start to enjoy life on a greater level, whether we’re living the life of a movie star, relaxing on a sun-soaked beach, or (and if they do actually exist) riding on the back of a flying unicorn!
So, don’t put off following your dreams forever. Do what you need to do to turn them into a reality, as you will be proud of yourself once you do.
