“I have always loved silver jewelry and how different accessories can truly compliment an outfit but hated opening up my jewelry drawer and realizing I couldn’t wear something because it was tarnished. Over time, I would stop wearing those tarnished pieces until there are a bunch that you decide it is time to polish.
A true New Englander, I was born, raised and still live in Massachusetts, USA. I am thankful to have had a mom that encouraged crafting and creativity from an early age. She taught me the beauty of handmade items from sewing to painting and drawing, gift wrapping, jewelry making, and home decorations. At age 8, I was selling my jewelry door to door (OK, I was selling my fashion plate color drawings too). At 13, my mom invited me to join her in selling my 3D plastic canvas Christmas ornaments. I remember being awestruck by my mom and the fact that she was willing to sell my items next to hers. Funny, I still have a few of those ornaments I put on my tree every year.
Quite a few years later, I branched out to woodworking and home improvement. Love my tools! One day after polishing some silver jewelry, I was down at my workbench and picked up some screws and nuts. Realizing many of my parts were hand me downs over the years, there were a few that still looked brand spanking new. I’m sure you can guess what they were made out of, stainless steel. That one moment is when the idea for Loralyn Designs was born and I have never looked back!”

The unique forged black iron diamond-shaped pendant measures 1″ wide by 2″ tall. It is adorned with a steel scroll filigree design which frames an eye-catching crimson red and black center. The color is not a stone, it is a metallic modeling resin which is hand molded into every piece.
Dark Pink and Silver Celtic Knot Earrings – Beautiful 3/8 inch diameter celtic knot design dangles with a customizable center color (shown in dark red). These earrings come on surgical steel french hook earrings wires which are great for sensitive skin!

It’s hard for me to pick a favorite because I love them all! I’ve always been drawn to the Celtic knots & meanings so I adore those for sure. I love that they are stainless which mean I don’t have to worry about them tarnishing or turning my skin green. Myself along with millions around the world are anticipating the biggest movie release in years, Star Wars: The Force Awakens. LucasFilm & Disney have been pretty hush-hush about this release only releasing teaser that leave us begging for more..and Harrison Ford showing up at D23 Expo didn’t help my anticipation any!
Today, merchandise inspired by the highly anticipated new movie Star Wars: The Force Awakens launched at retailers around the globe as #ForceFriday officially got underway. 3,000 retail locations in the U.S. opened their doors at midnight for fans to be among the first to discover new Star Wars products. With the closes target about 45 minutes away, I didn’t get to hit the stores early, so most of it was gone before I got there…I remember playing with micro machines as a kid and was so excited to head out to look for some #StarWars ones to hang around my office…While I didn’t get to get some Micro Machines I did pick up a few figures ????
Starting in Sydney and ending at Lucasfilm headquarters in San Francisco, Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media hosted an epic global live event to unveil key Star Wars: The Force Awakens products. Fans who tuned in to the Star Wars YouTube page were able to see the following toys unboxed by top digital stars from the Maker Studios network:
Additionally, fans tuning in to watch ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ on ABC were treated to a fun product reveal with Jimmy and his security guard sidekick Guillermo, showcasing Star Wars: The Force Awakens Voice Changing Masks exclusive to Disney Store.
Beyond lightsabers, construction sets, figures and collectibles, fans can find products across a wide variety of categories, including apparel for all members of the family, home décor, lifestyle accessories, books and more. New Star Wars products can be found around the world at mass and specialty retailers, such as Amazon.com, Kohl’s, Target, Toys “R” Us and Walmart, as well as Disney Store and disneystore.com.

I’m sharing a few of my own tips along with a few of Meredith Sinclar’s to help you get the most out of your quality family time.
The Drive
Family time can take the form of a conversation or game on a 10-minute ride to school or the grocery store. Push for carpool time to be a “no phone zone.” Those quick trips to and from school and during errands are the perfect opportunity for light-hearted conversations that connect the “what-did- you-do- today” dots or even grab a snack of some granola and Juicy Juice Splashers.
Do Chores Together
They need to get done which can take away from precious quality family time, so why not do them together. You wash the kids dry, you can fold laundry together etc. This gives you the opportunity to not only get your housework done, but it also gives you the opportunity to catch up and teaches your kids responsibility.
Read Together
Reading to your children is always a great idea, kids love the quality time and it help grow their vocabulary & cognitive abilities…but as they get older this might not always be a welcome option. Reading next to each other for 20-30 minutes and discussing the book is another great way to get in some quality time.
Have Tea Time

Movie Night
We love a good movie night in our house. We usually make it a theme night so all snacks/foods relate to the movie we are watching. One of their favorite snacks is my Bacon Cheddar Ranch Deviled Eggs that we made for our Angry Birds movie night, delicious and plenty of protein for growing kiddos.
