There are many of us that will get inflammation and it will impact our skin. Some people use ice packs or cooling products, or the classic cucumber on the eyes to help soothe. But there is another hack that works for inflammation on your skin, and that is salt. We all have some of that at home, right? Salt is something that is known for its antibacterial properties, and it does help to pull out excess oils from the skin. So it is a great way to help clear spots and help inflammation. You can take some salt to make a paste with water, and then apply it to the problem areas, and then wash off with warm water.
Use a toothbrush
Using a toothbrush is a no-brainer for your teeth, but it can also be a good idea to use one on your lips. If you have lips that dry out, not matter what lip balms you use, then this is a hack that can work for you. Wet a toothbrush, and then gently massage your lips in circles until the dead skin starts to simply drop away. This really helps to make smooth lips (just follow up with a hydrating balm or cream afterwards).
Cotton Buds
Cotton buds are a must in your beauty bag. They are great to use as a way to smudge makeup, and apply eye makeup, and they can also be used as a great way to dab up makeup if there are things like mascara that has clumped up or smudged under your eyes. Some people use cotton buds for ear cleaning, but really, you should seek professional advice when it comes to that. In order to be more eco-friendly, then you should look for bamboo buds or cotton buds that are paper, rather than plastic.
Reduce Blackheads with Eggs
We don’t need to have anything expensive to clean your face or get rid of blackheads. Those strips can really add up, but not really make much of a difference. One thing that you need is eggs and some tissues. If you whisk up one egg, and then make some layers on your face with egg, then tissue, then egg, and then tissue, and leave it to dry, it can make a difference. After half an hour, then move the homemade mask, and it can take blackheads with it, and you’re likely to have eggs in the house.
