Everyone has a beauty story, only mine has humble beginnings. I mom was never into the whole beauty routine and I only saw her in make-up if it was a special occasion like a holiday. While I didn’t get skin care tips from my mother I did get other beauty lessons that helped to make me the person I am today…knowledge, grace, kindness and sincerity.
When I visited my grandmother it was a different story. Every morning and night she washed her face with dove, applied moisturizer and never left the house without her makeup on. It’s good to have both “sides” in your life, it allows you to meet somewhere in the middle.

With summer time here, you simply can’t go to the store and not see the piles of sweet smelling watermelon. It’s always been a staple on the 4th of July for us, but this year I made it a little more fun for the kiddos by turning into a watermelon slush.
INGREDIENTS
2 cups chopped seedless watermelon 2 cups ice cubes
3/4 cup White Grape flavor Juicy Juice® 100% Juice
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
